My Photos Help Promote an Important Effort at UCLA

After my post “Faces I Remember: Mexico (4)” appeared, former colleagues Anne Dubois and Mark Betourné asked if they could use several of the images in a UCLA publication.

Knowing the good work Anne and Mark are involved with, I quickly said yes.

I was honored when Anne sent me the final product. My photos were on the cover of the program for the Second Annual Spring Conference of  The UCLA Blum Center on Poverty and Health in Latin America. The conference was held May 6-7 in Los Angeles on the UCLA campus.

The Blum Center’s work is focused on issues that are especially dear to me. I was humbled that my work could support their cause in a small way. Those of us in the South should do all in our power to improve the lives of the wonderful people who are our friends, our family and our neighbors in Latin America.

Anne and Mark are outstanding communications specialists whose business, Dubois Betourné & Associates, is located in Palm Coast, FL.
