Italy Through My Eyes

italy
Off we go to Italy. Dreamy, wonderful, magical, historical Italy. This is Italy through my eyes, through my lens. The familiar, and the unfamiliar. Close up, and far away. Magnificent, and plain as bread. Italy as I see it, la mia Italia.
I found these black and white photographs in a box in my attic. They were made on a trip more than a quarter century ago. Some prints had faded, others were overexposed, or scratched. I hope my appreciation for this beautiful land shines through.

So beautiful, Doug. I’ve never been to Italy and its the place I want to visit most. These photos inspire me to put it back on my bucket list!

Thank you, Jane. I met Elaine yesterday but Matt was home sick. Thanks for the introduction. She said to tell you and David hello.
